An old man, passionate about the rich taste of roasted groundnuts, began selling them in the bustling streets of Malleswaram, Bangalore. With only a lantern and a cycle, he won the hearts of many, one handful at a time. His simple offering—warm, perfectly roasted groundnuts—soon became the talk of the town. By 1961, buoyed by the love of his growing customer base, he opened the first tiny 10x4 sq. ft. shop on Malleswaram’s Sampige Road. Production was done entirely at home, with all products handmade and roasted using traditional Indian chulhas. It wasn’t just a business; it was a family effort, powered by love, tradition, and unmatched taste.

What started with just groundnuts slowly grew into a treasure trove of flavors. The shop expanded its offerings to include:
